I'm sure that you miss the good old chimpanzee Pan-Kun who on last Saturday’s episode of “Shimura Zoo” had a segment in which Pan-kun "cleaned" out his tree house:

Rule No. 1, never ever let a chimpanzee clean out your treehouse... Why? Watch the bit when he has to pass stuff to his mentor...

See! Even though he can help, don't trust leaving him alone on the food! But do enquire if you want his services for the painting and redecorating! :D

Chimpanzee Eating, Toilet Sighing, and Zoom zoom!

So to round of this week, here are some odds and ends of what has been happening in Japan this week! First, we have a chimpanzee being taught how to eat various Japanese foods: Next we have a toilet that tells you how it feels after being flushed... And finally, one of Japan's major airports has introduced single seat electric tricycles that will be used to patrol the airport halls and information desks. The tricycles, developed by Toyota, can operate at a top speed of 15 kilometres per hour. Some of those used at Chubu Airport will also carry emergency medical kit and computers that will allow airport staff to check flight schedules for passengers. I soo want to have a ride on those!!! NTV's Chimpspecting New Announcers

It seems Japan ran out of Presidents in its latest episode ofÂ "Shirmura Zoo" where Pan-Kun the Chimpanzee was made a company president so that the new NTV announcers can practise business etiquette. In Part 1, the new announcers introduces themselves and hand business cards to Pan-Kun: Next, they must show off their news announcing skills about observing Pan-kunâ€™s actions and giving live commentary: Seems like NTV's announcers has Pan-kun seal of approval then ;) As an bonus, how to manipulate the mind of a Chimpanzee into liking something...
