Clever Animals in Japan

OK, Japan has officially got clever dogs as well... Maybe Chickens are the latest for pets too where a pet chicken in Nagasaki Prefecture that enjoys riding on the handlebars of its master’s bicycle:

Pi-chan the chicken was purchased as a chick at a festival in Nagasaki, and has been a good friend to his master ever since. When they ride to the park, Pi-chan patiently waits on the bicycle while his master plays with friends. [from ナニコレ珍百景]
Moko-chan, a Shih Tzu that becomes extremely jealous whenever his mistress seems to show affection towards anything: And finally on Senakunes' Special Animals in Japan...Aggressive black kites are terrorizing people who try to eat snacks outdoors at the Awaji service area (near the Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge)! You can bet that a large number of birds have discovered that stealing food from humans is far easier than catching wild animals and so stealing food from the hands of unsuspecting people. The service area has put up signs warning visitors about the black kites. However some of the visitors have been deliberately leaving food on benches just for the thrill of watching the birds skillfully grab it, a practice which no doubt makes the problem even worse:
