UVERworld: Colors of the Heart

I have never seen Blood+ (lame!) but I might check it out soon because of this third opening song used on the once celebrated anime series. Got me curious with the band called UVERworld so I did a little research and heck, this was the very first of their singles I heard and it so rocks! Well, the group is a rock band obviously consisting of five members, save Uverchan the sixth invisible member and the mascot and so that explains it! They are well-known for their post-punk, hard rock and electronic musical genre and of course the ace of the group Takuya who's voice and musical range is awesome! Colors of the Heart is the fourth of UVERworld's released single which had ranked as high as the number 3 spot at the Oricon's Top 200 Weekly Charts back in 2006. Single Tracklist:

  1. Colors of the Heart
  2. SORA
  3. Hitori Janai Kara (一人じゃないから)
Grab and discuss more of this single here: [ Colors of the Heart ]

School Food Punishment: Futuristic Imagination

Japanese Alternative Rock Band, School Foor Punishment as they call themselves has just released on May 27, 2009 their first carrier single "Futuristic Imagination." The track of the same title has been chosen to be the ending theme for another spring anime for 2009, Higashi no Eden or Eden of the East. While we enjoyed watching Higashi no Eden with it's widely-known "Johnny" spiels, very little is known about School Food Punishment except that  Uchimura Yumi is on vocals, guitar and lyrics, Masayuki Hasuo on keyboard, Hideaki Yamazaki on bass and Osamu Hidai is on drums. However, I came across a video featuring a brief Q & A with the post-rock group. To wrap this brief article up, their newest, cool single is all yours for the taking!  [ED Single] SPF - Futuristic Imagination
