The Video of Wedding an Anime Character...

UPDATE from Guy Marries Video Game, We Don’t Judge As promised, the wedding ceremony between a man named Sal9000 and Nene Anegasaki, a character from the Nintendo DS game Love Plus, was filmed and broadcast across the internet. It's predictably sad. Fortunately, a shred of hope for humanity was preserved when it was revealed that Sal9000 orchestrated the event as a piece of performance art—although it is unclear how serious he is actually taking the relationship. Apparently, he has sexed up his fair share of virtual girlfriends, so it is probably only a matter of time before technology progresses and he finds himself another woman with bigger and better...rendering. Guy Marries Video Game, We Don't Judge

Seems some gamers are WAY too addicted to Love Plus that now some gamer announces he is to wed Nene, one of the dating sim’s three virtual girlfriends. The otaku brought his DS and a copy of the game to a church in Guam, where he took Nene Anegasaki’s hand in marriage. The newlyweds plan to hold a reception in Japan, and have invited the media to attend and view slides from their wedding and courtship. Local video streaming site NicoNico Douga plans to broadcast the November 22nd event live, starting around 12:00, so clear your evening schedule for that. There’s no word yet on whether the couple has consummated the marriage, but I suppose we’ll find out when we see the condition of the husband’s Nintendo DS. Cooking Mama Parody

As promised, I have tried to blog more for you to keep updated and for one thing for sure, this cannot go amiss!  Ever seen people playing Cooking Mama on the Nintendo DS or Wii?  Ever thought whether they can cook in the kitchen?  Well, we have Sama from Japan who wanted to try that very theory in this short clip! WARNING: Please don't do the things she does in the film.  I don't want a ninja to chop carrots that way... A massive well done to Dei Sama, for creating such a great clip and hopefully Dei will create more funny clips for us to enjoy! [DeiSama]

Blue Dragon Promo

"Shadows born from the light of the soul". It's the idea that people whose souls are full of positive energy have these protective shadows that take form of mythical creatures like dragons and phoenixes.
That's what the new game Blue Dragon is all about where the characters acquire their shadows from arts that survive only through ancients, but the story is about these characters liberating their own souls and ultimately producing their true shadows themselves. Game Overview: One year has passed since Shu and his companions defeated the tyrannical remnant of the Ancients, Nene. In the midst of the battle, the world split in two and now consists of a myriad of “cubes” that exploded from its depths. In one of these cubes, King Jibral stands on the balcony of Neo Jibral Castle and surveys the scene before him. He notices a mysterious cube in the distance suddenly start to move violently, and from it he sees the Shadow of a Balaur, a three-headed dragon, emerge. The enormous and sinister Shadow is just the beginning of the new turmoil and devastation to come.
