An enticing video of the wonders of Japan

Looking to go to Japan over the Summer?

How about an enticing video to see if it will make you wanting to go there! From the creator of the video, Brad Kremer:
Japan is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. This is my Japan. This is one of the many reasons why I love Japan. I shot this in many locations around Japan in the summer of 2009. Some of the location include Tokyo, Matsuyama, Imabari, Nagano, Gifu, and Ishizushisan. I started this as a personal project to try and capture the beauty that I see in Japan. It started as just that... But now that I have finished, I see it only as a beginning. This video, along with SAIJO MATSURI (Shown After The Jump!) is just the start of a much larger project that I have now decided to do.

Skipping Rope World Record Broken by Schoolchildren

Can you skip?  Can you skip with 90 ropes at you at the same time? Well a group of schoolchildren in China has set the world record at skipping, take a look at the video below: [dailymotion xd6c7y] The record involves 180 kids swinging 90 jump ropes while one boy in the center does the jumping. Get yourself VERY clean in Dangerous Way

As we know, we need to clean ourself after doing our business in the toilet. In this technology era, you might encounter some toilet bowl built-in with washlet spray, so it can wash you after the 'business'. But what if you change the washlet spray with fire hose? Let the image below shows the idea

Nara City Fire Department conducted a weird experiment where they going to record how far can fire hose throw a person away from the toilet. The result is 13.7 meters away from the toilet for a child dummy. You sure will get a VERY CLEAN butt, but the fact if you're in the toilet you'll get a very serious injury and a hole on your wall. Bad Apple-ing all Over the Internet...

By now you should have seen the Bad Apple Video spouting all over the Internet?  I have to say when I first watched it back in November, that it would be one of those sort of videos that will catch on.  But catch on it so has, with the video going worldwide in the matter of weeks!  Just to freshen your minds this was one of the Animated Version of the Video that I watched back in November. You can guess my surprise when other Japan oriented sites started to come up about this video, especially one guy creating a stop motion video! Even CNN has had a say on it, although it was not a Behind the Scenes of the Orignal Video :P And even a Kawaii Japanese Girl dancing to it in Japan! Seen this Video is a Number 1 in our books! What are your top Japanese Music Videos that made its rounds over the Internet?

Chimpanzee cleanizz zee treezhouze...

I'm sure that you miss the good old chimpanzee Pan-Kun who on last Saturday’s episode of “Shimura Zoo” had a segment in which Pan-kun "cleaned" out his tree house:

Rule No. 1, never ever let a chimpanzee clean out your treehouse... Why? Watch the bit when he has to pass stuff to his mentor...

See! Even though he can help, don't trust leaving him alone on the food! But do enquire if you want his services for the painting and redecorating! :D

It's Official Panda Poo Tastes Like Tea.

Yes you have guess it, the Japanese have done it again!  Panda Poo tastes like tea!

A Japanese comedian visits a Panda park in China, where he tests the smell (and taste) of panda poo, he is amazed to find that it smells great and is even lick-able. Some panda feces is brought back to Japan for the celebrity studio audience, all of whom agree about it not smelling bad. A few say it smells like tea. So I am sure a member of our JAP-On! Team (Jared) would love to try that with his morning breakfast! [JapanProbe]

The Video of Wedding an Anime Character...

UPDATE from Guy Marries Video Game, We Don’t Judge As promised, the wedding ceremony between a man named Sal9000 and Nene Anegasaki, a character from the Nintendo DS game Love Plus, was filmed and broadcast across the internet. It's predictably sad. Fortunately, a shred of hope for humanity was preserved when it was revealed that Sal9000 orchestrated the event as a piece of performance art—although it is unclear how serious he is actually taking the relationship. Apparently, he has sexed up his fair share of virtual girlfriends, so it is probably only a matter of time before technology progresses and he finds himself another woman with bigger and better...rendering.
